เชียงใหม่- ‘จูกวางโจ’ อาสาสมัครคอยก้ากับบทบาทสะพานเชื่อมวัฒนธรรมไทย-เกาหลี

อาสาสมัครจากองค์กรความร่วมมือระหว่างประเทศเกาหลีใต้ (KOICA) ช่วยส่งเสริมภาษาและวัฒนธรรมผ่านการสอนภาษาเกาหลีที่มหาวิทยาลัยและศูนย์ชุมชนในประเทศไทย

จู กวาง โจ หนึ่งในอาสาสมัครเกาหลีที่ปฏิบัติหน้าที่ ณ จังหวัดเชียงใหม่กล่าวว่า “นักเรียนของผมมองว่าประเทศเกาหลีเป็นประเทศที่เป็นมิตรและน่าไปเยี่ยมเยียนมากที่สุด ตัวผมก็รู้สึกแบบนั้นกับประเทศไทยเช่นกัน”เขาถูกนักเรียนเรียกว่า ‘คนเมือง’ เพราะได้รับบทบาทหน้าที่ในการเป็นสะพานเชื่อมวัฒนธรรมของสองประเทศเข้าด้วยกันผ่านการเรียนการสอนภาษาเกาหลี

สำนักงานคอยก้าประเทศไทยมีแผนที่จะส่งอาสาสมัครสอนภาษาเกาหลีและอาสาสมัครโครงการอื่นๆ โดยมุ่งเน้นไปที่เยาวชนคนรุ่นใหม่ เพื่อสร้างความร่วมมือและพันธมิตรที่แข็งแกร่งกับประเทศไทยต่อไปในภายภาคหน้า นับตั้งแต่การก่อตั้งสำนักงานคอยก้าประเทศไทยในปี 2535 ทางองค์กรได้ร่วมมือกับรัฐบาลไทยในโครงการความร่วมมือต่างๆ อาทิ โครงการอาสาสมัคร โครงการฝึกอบรม ฯลฯ เพื่อบรรลุเป้าหมายการพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืน (Sustainable Development Goals: SDGs)

The Volunteers from the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) teach Korean Language at universities and community centers in Thailand to promote Korean language and culture.

” Mr. Joo Kwang-jo KOICA volunteer in Chiang Mai said that through the Korean language class, my students perceive Korea as a friendly country most want to be visited, and as I know to Koreans feel same way for Thailand.
Mr. Joo Kwang-jo, “Khon Mueang” (local urbanite) called by students plays a role as the cultural bridge between two countries through volunteer service.

KOICA Thailand Office plans to dispatch Young Project Team volunteers to further strengthen the partnership with Thailand to continue mutually beneficial cooperation in the future.
Since its establishment in Thailand in 1992, KOICA has been working with the Thai government on various cooperation programs, including the Volunteer Program and the Invitation Training Program, to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
